A former agricultural area of the Meßdorfer Feld (Bonn) has been transformed into an insect paradise with the support of local farmers and the Bonn/Rhein-Erft Biological Station e.V. On that day, thousands of Common Blues (Polyommatus icarus) and various other species were seen flying over the area.
