Puppe eines Admirals (Vanessa atalanta) kurz vor Schlupf des Falters

Etwa zwei Wochen vorher hatte ich im Kottenforst eine fast erwachsene Raupe eines Admirals (Vanessa atalanta) auf einem Brennnesselgewächs (Urticaceae) gefunden und zur Weiterzucht mit nach Hause genommen. Der noch in der Puppe befindliche Schmetterling schlüpfte am nächsten Morgen.
